Dr Rebecca McKee

Associate Director

Rebecca is an associate director at the IfG in the ministers team, Her work focuses on supporting ministers and their private office team and strengthening parliament. She was one of the researchers on the Institute for Government/Bennett Institute Review of the UK Constitution. Rebecca also leads the institute’s work on public inquiries.

Rebecca has a PhD in politics and prior to joining the IfG Rebecca worked at the Constitution Unit, UCL as a British Academy postdoctoral research fellow where she led a research project on MPs’ staffing arrangements. Rebecca also previously worked for the participation charity Involve, project managing deliberative processes including the Citizens’ Assembly on Health and Social Care and Climate Assembly UK.
