Vimbai was a senior researcher in the policy making team at the Institute for Government, where they led work on rapid policy making. This research explores how policy officials can develop robust policies at speed.

They joined the Institute after working in government in a variety of roles. Prior to their time in government, Vimbai held digital roles in the UK and Canadian charity sectors.
