Charlotte is providing maternity cover as an Associate Director in the IfG Academy. The Academy helps those in government to be effective: providing opportunities for politicians and senior civil servants to understand their roles and develop their skills; and for those outside it to understand it better: helping academic researchers, charities, businesses and international audiences navigate how government and policy making works.
Prior to joining the Institute, Charlotte worked for a number of different councils in policy and strategy; governance; and councillor development. More recently she worked at the Local Government Association on political leadership development, leading a team responsible for the design and delivery of effective and innovative, cross-party learning and development programmes for local politicians.
