Peter Hourston

Former Research Assistant

Peter was a researcher assistant in the devolution team. He joined the Institute as a research assistant, conducting research on regional economic policy and the government’s levelling up agenda in the public finances team. He also worked in the Institute's communications and events team, working on website development, social media and public events.

Prior to working at the Institute, he studied economics and international relations at university where he researched the foreign policy of subnational governments.
