Maddy is a researcher in the Institute's Brexit team. She first joined the Institute as an intern in April 2017 working on devolution. She studied History at the University of Sheffield and completed a Masters in Global Politics at the London School of Economics in 2015.
In 2016, Maddy worked as a research assistant at BritainThinks on a range of projects for clients across the private and public sector. She has completed an internship with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations in New York, working with the West Africa Team on the Missions in Côte d'Ivoire and Liberia.
