Jack Worlidge

Senior Researcher

Jack is a senior researcher in the civil service and policy making team, focussing on civil service reform. 

Jack studied Cell and Systems Biology before working in politics – first in a pooled research facility for Conservative MPs, and later in a public affairs agency. He provided policy research for a campaign for the leadership of the Conservative Party in 2019, before joining an MP’s parliamentary office. 

Most recently, Jack was a special adviser to the deputy prime minister, lord chancellor and justice secretary at the Ministry of Justice. He was responsible for prisons and reoffending policy, legislative handling, parliamentary engagement, and briefing and preparation for parliamentary appearances including Prime Minister’s Questions.
