Francis Maude announces new research into role of Civil Service

The Institute commented in The Independent newspaper today on the Cabinet Office's plans for a think tank to undertake research into international styles of governance. The Institute confirmed that it would not be bidding for this work but would continue its own work looking at accountability models and issues for the UK relating to this important question.
