DWP cuts put government's welfare reforms at risk

Deputy Director Julian McCrae is quoted in a piece describing the impact of cuts at the Department for Work and Pensions.

Leaked documents seen by The Guardian suggest that spending cuts at DWP could impede progress on welfare reform. IfG Deputy Director said it was important that the department is planning ahead for further cuts: "If people were not having these conversations, that would be a worry."
