Maddie is Events Manager and runs events at the IfG along with the rest of the Events Team.
Maddie studied History and Philosophy at university and worked in the heritage sector before joining the IfG in 2022. During the Centenary of the First World War, she worked in a heritage charity, running a number of events and roadshows across Europe. More recently she worked in a heritage community project where she oversaw research as well as identifying ways to showcase it – both through events and online.
