The Institute for Government welcomed the Shadow Cabinet Office Minister, Michael Dugher MP, to give a keynote speech on civil service reform.

The Institute for Government is delighted to welcome the Shadow Cabinet Office Minister, Michael Dugher MP, to give a keynote speech on civil service reform.  

There has been much discussion about civil service reform and Mr Dugher will reflect on the last four years of reform by the Government. He will also set out Labour’s thinking on what reforms will need to be implemented in the next Parliament, including how we can improve co-ordination across Whitehall and develop capabilities in the Civil Service. 

Michael Dugher became the Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office in October 2013 and is also Vice-Chair of the Labour Party. He is the Labour MP for Barnsley East.
