With Parliament in the spotlight, the approach that candidates propose to take to the challenges that will face the next Commons Speaker – from the interpretation of procedure, to the restoration of the Palace of Westminster and Parliament’s engagement with the public – is of greater significance than ever.

This event with candidates running to become the next Speaker explored these important questions.
