Zina is the Interim Chief Executive for the London Borough of Haringey where she was previously Deputy Chief Executive with responsibility for Children’s Services, Adults Social Services, Public Health, Commissioning and Communications. Zina joined Haringey in February 2013. Prior to that, she held a range of positions in the civil service, including most recently as Director of Strategy and Transformation for the UK Border Force, Executive Director for Civil Service Reform in the Cabinet Office, and Director of Strategy and Communications in the Department of Innovation, Universities and Skills. Between civil service roles, Zina was also Assistant Chief Executive at the London Borough of Barnet from 2010-12.
