Ollie Hirst

Ollie was an intern at the Institute from October 2015 – March 2016, and worked principally on the Whitehall Monitor project. He studied History at the University of Warwick, and then completed an MPhil in Early Modern History at Cambridge. He has also studied at Queen’s University in Canada. Prior to joining the Institute, Ollie undertook a three-month internship at ComRes, where he worked on a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects. His interests include technology and open data, civil service reform and the parliamentary process, and international relations.
