Ellen joined the Institute in June 2011. She has a background in publishing, having previously worked as Commissioning Editor for business and economics books for John Wiley & Sons. Prior to that, she commissioned and managed politics, economics and philosophy titles at two independent academic publishers, Zed Books and Polity Press. She holds a BA in Social & Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Language, Culture and History from UCL. She is also on the Board of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health’s Neonatal Audit Programme.
