Daniel Slade

Daniel joined the Institute in April 2017, and is currently completing a PhD in national-level town planning reform at the University of Liverpool. During his PhD, Daniel took time out to work in the Department for Communities and Local Government on the project team for the 2013 ‘Taylor Review’ of National Planning Practice Guidance. He has also completed a fellowship in the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology where he authored a briefing on trends in political participation for MPs returning after the 2015 General Election. Daniel has a Master of Civic Design in Town Planning and Civic Design from the University of Liverpool, and a BA in Human Geography from the University of Hull.
