Baroness Amos is currently the master of University College, Oxford University. She was the director of SOAS University of London from 2015–20.
Baroness Amos was a member of the British government from 1998–2007 and served in the cabinet as secretary of state for international development and leader of the House of Lords from 2003–07. She is also a former under-secretary general for humanitarian affairs for the United Nations.
