Our events

The IfG’s public events make news, shape opinion and share ideas on how government works and how it can be improved.

From keynote speeches to in-depth interviews and from one-day conferences to panel discussions and expert briefings, the Institute’s public events – in-person, hybrid and virtual – make news, shape opinion and share ideas on how government works and how it can be improved.  

Hosted at our offices in the heart of Westminster and around the country, our events feature government ministers, political leaders, experts and influential public figures from across the UK and beyond. Each autumn, we attend party conferences to discuss a wide range of our work.

We also host private roundtables and workshops, bringing together smaller groups for debate and discussion.
