The Institute for Government was delighted to speak to Wendy Williams, who led the Windrush review.

Listen to the event

A major independent review into the Windrush scandal exposed fundamental issues within the UK's immigration system, but also wider failures of policy making, bureaucracy, law and political leadership.

The Institute for Government was delighted to speak to Wendy Williams, who led the review, to discuss what went wrong, what needs to change and what lessons the UK government has learned.

This event was chaired by Joe Owen, Programme Director at the Institute for Government
