Running Britain well: How do the party manifestos stack up?

Date:
Tuesday, May 23, 2017 - 13:00

Whichever party wins the coming general election, its manifesto will be the basis for governing. It must tell voters about the kind of government they are electing, to give the Government a clear mandate.

At this event, we examined how the major manifestos measure up.

Our panel included:

  • Joe Twyman, Head of Political and Social Research at YouGov
  • Nicholas Timmins, Senior Fellow at the Institute for Government and the King's Fund
  • Julian McCrae, Deputy Director, Institute for Government

The event was chaired by Bronwen Maddox, Director of the Institute for Government.
