In conversation with Andy Haldane

The Institute for Government welcomed Andy Haldane, Chief Economist of the Bank of England, to discuss productivity, innovation and industrial strategy in the UK.

He was in conversation with Bronwen Maddox, Director of the Institute for Government.

Andy Haldane, Chief Economist since June 2014, is also Executive Director for Monetary Analysis, Research and Statistics, with responsibility for research and statistics across the Bank of England, and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee.
