Election 2019 Breakfast: What happens now?

The 2019 General Election is one of the most unpredictable and important elections in recent times.

On the morning after polling day, we discussed the result – and what happens next.

Our panel included:

• Joe Owen, Brexit programme director at the Institute for Government
• Dr Gemma Tetlow, chief economist at the Institute for Government
• Giles Wilkes, senior fellow at the Institute for Government and former special adviser to Theresa May.
