Director’s Annual Lecture 2019

The Institute for Government hosted the third annual lecture by its Director, Bronwen Maddox.

In her speech, Bronwen looked at the challenges of the year ahead for the UK government, where they expose weaknesses and explore how they could be handled well - or not.

Bronwen's speech was followed by a response by Sir Amyas Morse KCB, Comptroller and Auditor General of the National Audit Office (NAO).

The event was chaired by James Harding, co-founder and Editor of Tortoise, and former Director of News and Current Affairs at the BBC.
