They discussed key themes from the book, including the damage that bad economics can do to politics and how good economics can strengthen the democratic centre. This was followed by an audience Q&A.

Robert Skidelsky is Emeritus Professor of Political Economy at the University of Warwick. He was made a life peer in 1991 and a Fellow of the British Academy in 1994.
