Legislating Brexit: Prospects for the Repeal Bill

One of the centrepieces of this year's Queen’s Speech was what the Government calls the Repeal Bill.

Even before the election removed the Prime Minister’s majority, there were many potential flashpoints around the bill. What are the prospects for its passage through the House of Commons and Lords? How can Parliament ensure effective scrutiny? How will the devolved administrations react? And what does it mean for the future of ECJ jurisprudence in the UK?
