Peter was a former Whitehall director and he led our work on civil service reform, working closely with senior leaders in Whitehall as they strive to make Whitehall better – not just cheaper.

He was our expert on: civil service reform – current and past; performance management/delivery; capability; the role of the centre/corporate leadership; change leadership in the public sector.

Previously Peter was director of strategy and change at the Ministry of Justice – helping them develop a strategy to transform justice whilst reducing the cost of the ministry by 25%.

Prior to that he was director of the capability review programme in the Cabinet Office. He led the project from its inception to implementation. Other roles include director then interim head of the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit.
