Professor Linda Colley will be joined by an expert panel to discuss ‘When did the British Constitution become unwritten?’
Professor Colley the Shelby M.C. Davis 1958 Professor of History, is an expert on Britain since 1700.
After graduating from Bristol University with First Class Honours in history she completed her Ph.D. in history at Cambridge, becoming the first female Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge.
She was a professor at LSE and Yale before joining the Princeton History Department in 2003.
She has many publications to her name, her most recent work Britons 'The Ordeal of Elizabeth Marsh: A Woman in World History' was nominated one of the ten best books of 2007 by the New York Times.
