Good government is a key factor in shaping a nation's social and economic future. But while Whitehall ranks among the world's best administrations, the scale of today's political challenges demand evermore capable leadership from government.
The Institute's role is to inform and support the process of improvement, working with politicians and civil servants at the highest levels to improve capacity and provide evidence-based advice that draws on best practice from across the globe.
Working as a catalyst, we stimulate change by challenging current thinking and providing new ideas and models for shaping and developing better government.
